“Such a great time in Hank. Dore was super helpful and there wasn't a single thing I thought "I wish we had this with us" and they hadn't thought of it already. Coming in from out of town was seamless and very easy logistically for us. Looking forward to a return trip and some new destinations.”
“I LOVE THIS TRUCK We had so much fun with Hank! What a perfect setup for Winter Exploring! This was our first time in a pop up camper - I previously had no idea there was so much room inside! Dore and Ryan were beyond excellent to work with as well! I am already looking at the next vehicle to rent from them for another adventure :)”

We could not have asked for more from Wonderland! The moment that we hired their Tundra, Ryan and Dore were in touch with guidance on the paperwork they needed, gave us recommendations of where to camp and provided various helpful links. When we arrived, they met us at the station and were very understanding about that fact that we were delayed and unable to get in touch. Our bags had been misplaced by Amtrak, and so we were required to head back to Portland and pick them up, which delayed the start of our journey. Ryan and Dore offered us two extra days free of charge to make up for this - an incredibly kind gesture seeing as the misplaced bags had nothing to do with them! Their introduction to the pickup was thorough and helpful, providing us with everything we needed to know and nothing that we didn’t. The Tundra itself is outstanding too: easy to drive, confidence inspiring on gravel roads, extraordinarily comfortable for multiple nights and brilliantly well equipped. Whether we needed a hatchet, hammock or spices, they were all there! Throughout the week, Ryan and Dore were contactable whenever we needed them, however inane our questions were! Their handbook held all the information we needed, but they were more than understanding when we asked them again anyway. They were very flexible with drop off times and made the handover quick and easy. This was our first time in Oregon and first time 4x4 camping. Wonderland made it a truly special experience and we can’t recommend them highly enough.

"We rented Ryan and Dore's brand new Ford F150 (Hank). The truck/camper was perfect for what we needed (chasing mountains and waterfalls). Ryan and Dore were professional, friendly and so very accommodating. We will definitely call them again for our next adventure in the Pacific NW."

"What an amazing experience! From the booking through the entirety of our rental, everything exceeded our expectations! My husband and I flew into Portland to go on our camping adventure, and we were a little nervous. It was an 8 day trip in a new place, in someone else's setup! Ryan and Doré were so very helpful, from helping us pick the right rental for our trip to some of the most amazing recommendations for camping, eating, and breweries. They were also super patient with us first time camper users and very responsive during the trip. Everything was PERFECT! The truck was clean, drove like a dream, and included literally all the camping gear we needed and then some. We were totally impressed. I highly recommend booking with Wonderland Expeditions for serious quality and value for your next trip."

"This was the perfect rig for backroads camping at Olallie Lake and Timothy Lake for a 100-mile race. At pick-up, Ryan walked me through setting up the camper, how to use the fridge, furnace, stove, etc., along with 4WD features and handling tips for the Tundra. With 30-degree temps at night, the heater was a great upgrade compared to tent camping. And the camper has all the essentials for cooking, plus camp chairs, and even a couple of card games. iPhone cable and USB port on the radio to charge phone play music was a nice to find. It was a little bit of a tight fit with 2 adults and two kids, but worked out fine. Convenience of being able to park, camp, and be on the move quickly was just what we needed for this trip. Drop off was just as easy, and Ryan was great at getting back to me and answering questions. Thanks, Ryan!"

"When we were researching an outdoor trip to Oregon, we were struck by all the opportunities for outdoor recreation. When we discovered Wonderland Expeditions and spoke with Ryan, he opened up a bunch of possibilities to experience all the Pacific Northwest has to offer - all off the beaten path! Instead of renting a car and just car camping, we rented Caballo Blanco, a Toyota Tundra with pop-up camper. We wanted to do a little of everything and Ryan helped curate our trip, giving us advice and map directions of where to go so we could camp on the beach and do some stand-up paddle boarding. He even gave us recommendations on rental shops and great restaurants nearby. The truck was better than advertised and we felt like we could have lived out of it for months. It was easy to operate and we had a full, little home on wheels. It was stocked with all the essentials so all we need to do was hit the grocery store and go! We started off by exploring some trails in the coastal range on our way to the coast. We eventually meandered our way to the small town of Pacific City, where we were eager to put the truck into 4x4 and cruise the beach. We found a spot on the beach, opened up the awning and soaked up this immaculate spot. While you can't camp in Pacific City, Ryan gave us tips on where we could camp nearby and his directions and recommendations were spot on - we found a little spot to ourselves, well just us and the whales 🐋. Exactly what we were here to do! Wonderland Expeditions ruined us, we'll never do another basic outdoor trip again. If you're looking for an unique vacation adventure without sacrificing all the luxuries, I highly recommend Wonderland Expeditions. You can't go wrong with any of their 4x4 rentals and next time we'll be renting the cool Land Cruiser!"

"What a great way to travel! We took the pop-up camper on the back roads surrounding Zion National Park. It was a great way to see more of the area and with four wheel drive the camper was easy to drive. It also snowed one night but we had no problems navigating the icy roads. The pop-up camper had everything we needed for the weekend. We especially loved the kitchenette and having a warm breakfast even in the middle of nowhere. It was roomy enough to fit two adults (and a giant dog) comfortably!"
