Winter Activities on Mt. Bachelor are endless. It is consistently rated as one of the Northwest’s biggest and best ski resort destinations. Plus the surrounding area is scenic and has plenty of room to wander off the beaten path.

A popular rock climbing destination, Smith Rock's large geologic features also provide a nice hiking and mountain biking destination in Central Oregon and is a great place to relax on the winding Crooked River. Fly fishing in this area can be incredible too if that is your jam and the bite is on.

This area is some of the best in the west for both outdoor recreation and beer tasting. Enjoy the sun and easy access to a network of trails, and when you're done, hop on another kind of trail, the Bend Ale Trail, and taste some delicious IPAs, sours, sessions, you name it!

The Bend Ale Trail - Bend, OR
Bend has a startling abundance of world-class breweries clustered close together like the gold at the end of a big, beer rainbow. Bend has more breweries per-capita than any other city in Oregon and has been dubbed Beer Town USA! If beer isn't your thing, that's okay. Bend's growing selection of distilleriesand wineries are a great way to quench your thirst for adult beverages, so make sure you check out the Drinkable Diversions along the Bend Ale Trail while you're in town.

Tumalo Falls - Bend, OR
Tumalo Falls is a 97-foot waterfall on Tumalo Creek, in the Cascade Range west of Bend in the U.S. state of Oregon. Additional waterfalls are upstream along Tumalo Creek and a tributary, Bridge Creek and its Bridge Creek Falls.
